BittEn... By A DB (DooR BiatCh)
Thinking that it's the last work day of the week, things shld be on a more relaxed mode. Who noes that early morning kenah bitten by a DB. For those who work in a normal office environment, DBs are often loathe coz they have no specialization (not sure if barking and biting are considered special skills) and they are always the last barrier b4 documents or normal folks like me can get to the VVIP. Very often, we find ourselves giving face to these DBs for fear of being stabbed on the back or making headlines in everyday gossips.
Coming back to the topic, poor moi outta goodwill wanna reply to DB's msg about some coordination issues. Instead of being grateful that I took the effort to walk to inform her, DB gave me the "so wat the heck do u wanna tell me about" look. WTH! (i wanna use F instead of H, but den decided to skip the vulgarities, hehehe). Anywaes, finally seen the true colors of tat DB, so at least gain some gd infor for future warfare. Guess it's time to be all prepared for battlefield coz no one noes when the next war will erupt. It always pays to be vigiliant!!!
Today is mama's bdae, so decided to treat her to some HK foodfare at C-Nai Express at ECP. We ordered some bento sets and they were really value for $$. I had a fried seafood udon bento set that came with minestrone soup, curry fishball, coleslaw, chicken rice, braised tau gua and egg and a dessert. All these for the cost of less than 10 bucks! Total costs with drinks came up to less than 6o bucks. Quite a nice dinner for a family of 4 on a Fri nite.
As usual, moi need my movie fix and we watched Balls of Fury at TM. There was this couple seated next to me who were either on a blind date or they really had no one to go out with other than each other. Wat's the logic behind making theses assumptions one might asked. Well, they both can't stop messaging on their own hps with minimal communication. The gal who was juz next to me, din had her hp outta her sight till the movie started!! And as usual, there are bound to be large groups of students who cant decide who shld sit with who and ends up like the Great Wall of China (blocking eveyone's view of the big screen).
An ending note to this post, it was done on my DD pig's laptop, muahahaha!! Took me more than half an hour to complete this post. And if anyone is wondering where's DD pig, he's playing NBA with Uncle on PS2.

Rain, Rain and Still Raining
It's a super rainy dae, nothing but rain almost the whole dae. Think the oni moments it wasn't raining was during lunchtime. Since the first day of work, I've yet to have lunch at the canteen, although I've been there for free mooncakes sampling,heehee...
Was flipping through the papers tis morning and realised that there are so many new movies to catch this week. Just to name a few: Balls of Fury (anyone who needs a good laugh), Shoot 'em up (for those who love non stop gun shooting moments)/ Nannies Diaries (anyone who like Chris Evans, he's Human Torch in Fantastic 4!). Too much movies, too little time, dilema dilema dilema...I really need my movie fix!!! Coz next week is yet another round of closing and that means longer working hours which means after work is back to home and to bed!!!
Talking about work, will be making my 1st official biz trip soon in Oct and can't help but wonder if my Cantonese will improve by then so that my counterparts in HK won't drop off their chairs when they listened to my broken Cantonese *urgh*. I guessed there's no better way to learn than to speak out even though I will be making a fool of myself. But hey, at least I am sincere and I try my best right. I do deserve a BIG BIG pat on my back.
And of coz, since I am headed for HK, should plan some shopping itinerary so that work and pleasure will be nicely balanced out (hahaha, tink oni I can come out with such nonsense). But then again, if never shop then how to claim that I've been to HK! Please do bear with my no sense thoughts,I need to let myself go wild once in a while,muahahaha...

PiNkiE 1st DaY oUt
I hope that there won't be any complaints of discomfort to the eyes after reading this pink post,heehee...But hey, its about my PINKIE! (so this blog has gotta be in pink, hahaha). Today's the 1st time that I had Pinkie for company to work and other than the minor problem of not having an external controller, everything is perfect. Imagine a music device that blasts your favourite songs, let u tune into radio stations and its 1/2 the size of name cards. Nothing could be sweeter and I cant wait for the next running event so that I can attach Pinkie to my armstrap while running through the streets of S'pore on a Sun morning. By the way, I don't get any freebies or endorsement fees for putting in so much good words about Pinkie,muahahaha...Maybe next time I shall let Pinkie blog instead, hahaha :)

Mee SiAm, CLaMs, SasHiMi!
Finally finally, I managed to satisfy my 1 week old craving for Mee Siam!! Yeah!! Dear hubby of mine brought me to the hawker centre at Kovan on Sun noon. And still no other place sells Mee Siam the way the auntie and uncle did at Kovan. Best of all, it only costs $2 with lotsas tau pok and 1 whole egg! Yummy yummy yum!
And before Mee Siam, there were black pepper chicken, sambal lala, chicken soup etc. In case anyone is wondering, Ah Ger and moi decided to whip up some dishes for dinner at Uncle's place. We went to Cold Storage where we picked out a huge watermelon (about 3/4 of it is probably still in Uncle's fridge!), one whole solid black pepper chicken, chuka hotate (seasoned scallops), Chunky Chicken Soup (Campbells), clams and mango pudding. We decided to cook the clams with some foodstuff we managed to salvage from Uncle's fridge in sambal sauce. Other than the sauce being a tiny weenie bit too saltish, it was quite comparable to those zhi cha stall (tats wat Uncle said). And for the record, it's the first time I've cooked for dear hubby, hahahaha...And for the record, none of us had a tummy upset. Kudos to the chefs! *pat pat on the back*
After VB at the beach yesterday, we headed for Jap buffet at Honjin. Had originally wanted to try out the buffet at Miramar but the place was fully booked. The service at Honjin was much better than the previous time we were there (and tat was like about 2 weeks ago!), at least all our orders were served. Some people must have thought that we were crazy to have sashimi every now and then. But the sashimi are really fresh, moi simply love the Hamachi sashimi! Too bad that the good stuff always run out fast. Gotta made do with swordfish instead.
Almost time to ZzZ...Gotta work tommorow...How I wish that everyday is like the weekend *Dreaming dreaming dreaming*

~InTroDuCtiOn~
This is not the first time I am bloggin but its the 1st time I am bloggin here (confused??). Juz in case anyone is wondering, this blog space was created by moi last year and I've finally decided to move over here coz there's more room for putting up interesting stuffs, muahahaha...
Getting down to business (like real, hahaha), today is the 1st time I am officially clearing annual leave!! *Woohoo* In my previous jobs, I simply dun have any privileges of clearing leave. The reason (big DUHZ), the number of annual leave never get beyond the number 12. How pathetic right..Imagine if need to get marry and go for honeymoon, that means gotta scrimp and save up the whole year of annual leave. Its worse than saving up for the banquet! OMG!!! *faint*
So wat had I done today...Hmm, I've finally submitted my profession membership application!! Triple Cheers for moi!! Hip hip hooray! Now, juz gotta keep my fingers crossed that the application will go through smoothly and I owed my manager a meal, kekeke. Did a little shopping at G2000. Simply couldn't resisted getting another grey jacket although I've already gotten one when I started on my new job about 3 mths ago. Imagine paying $39 for a decent jacket! The design was so classic..Too bad the matching pants and skirt were snapped up. *Haiz*
Made my way down to Raffles Hotel where I had 2 shirts tailored to my fit. Dun understand why its so hard to get good looking shirts off the rack. The last shirt I got was like a year ago. So, its time to get some nice and smart looking ones that will probably tide me through days when I simply couldn't be more creative. *wink wink*
Picked up movie tickets from the AXS machine and its shopping time again! Btw, Now I pronounce you Chuck & Larry was the movie that we watched. More about that later, now I've gotta share with everyone my latest commuting companion--> Zen Stone Plus!! *clap clap* Its a 2GB music player from Creative, wanna guess wat color did I picked???PINK!! While I blog, Pinkie is being charged up so that it will be able to keep me well entertained together with trusty old DS Lite, heehee.

Moving on to the movie, its a comedy starring Adam Sandler and of coz tat means lotsa outrageous jokes. Had a good laugh and I mean really good laugh. Movies really do wonders for me and while the movie was hilariously funny, it did bring out some heart warming issues about committment, family, friendship and equality for everyone.
I guessed this 1st blog has been quite a long blog, but I've gotta get a headstart somewhere rite! Bear with me ya, I promised to be short and sweet and to the point in my future posts!
