I BiTE!!! GRRRHHHH!!!
Let's juz say tat I m not in a pretty mood to play the goody 2 shoes 2dae. It's MON!!! Freaking hell, start of another efforts wasting but no returns week at work. Yepz, I DREAD heading for work...OMG, haven't had tat kinda feelings for at least about a year even when my prev job bores me to bits and I had to entertain myself by msn-ing (DUHZ!).
Almost everyday for the past week, I kept having tots of looking for a new job and oh boy, the feeling has never been tis strong b4. True tat I may not suffer at tis job as compared to the last 2 but somehow at least dere are nice ppl who saw me through, ppl who noes my true potential. However, after the big shuffle, like some ppl will say, my 8 characters dun click with neither green dress witch nor charitable soul.
The day began with a big sized male ogre plunging himself next rite to me in the MRT when so clearly tat his big fat ass cant possibly squeezed into watever dere is left of the seat next to me. Well, juz his luck that tis lady here was in a really foul mood. So I opened my newspaper real wide and pushed my bag (which was on my lap) towards him whenever the MRT jerked to a stop at each station. Finally to finish the job, when I reached my station, I swung my bag to my side (missing his idiotic all high up dere face by inches, muahahaha) and kicked at his feet which he shuffled in a super hilarious manner (he was damn scared tat my 4cm heels will "poke" into his feet). LOL!!!! Make my day man...
After a super pissful off day at work, while travelling along the expressway, tis short (can barely see her eyebrows!) bitch in a SUV turned right infront of us from a filter lane at an amazing tortoise speed. When DD horned at her, tat bitch put up her middle finger. Bad day for tat bitch tat we are not push overs. When DD drove up past her, I turned and pointed my middie at her too!!! Hahaha!!! Should have showed her both middies...*regret* Bet the SUV must be from some sugardaddy given tat she showed no sign of having a brain at the way she's driving. She probably got the SUV to compensate for her shortiness and tat probably explains y she's breathing in more carbon dioxide and shrinking watever is left of her brain (if she does had one to start off with)!
MEAN GALS RULEZ!!!

Hmm,let's back track a bit to about 1 week ago, that will b TGIF too...The shopping bug is the official mascot for moi workplace last week and of coz how can I the (erm hmm) undisputed SQ (shopping queen!) missed out on the grand event of the year!!! Well, it should be considered the most important event, other than for the upcoming D&D (omg, still dunno wat to wear *roll eyes*).
Anyway, moi and hubby decided to go on the 2nd nite of the sales instead of the 1st day as moi had been warned that the Q of the 1st nite is ridiculously insane (imagine Q-ing up at 7pm when the sales start at 11pm!). Furthermore, my belief is that if moi is fated to buy the stuff, I will still get hold of the stuff irregardless of wat happens. Well, I m glad that I din bug hubby to go up and Q on the 1st nite, he would haf probably suggested we go for movies instead of Q-ing up for 1-2 hours.
We made our way down to the store around 10.30pm after dinner at MOS (burger!). I had expected a crowd and true to it, a Q had formed. As compared to the prev nite (as illustrated by ppl who had turned up again), tis Q is much much shorter. Oh well, most of the good stuff should haf been grabbed on the 1st nite, so no surprises that the crowd was much smaller. We were like among the top 30 in the Q and as time approaches 11pm, everyone in the Q started to get excited (non stop chattering!!). At 11pm sharp, we were allowed into the store and boy, hubby finally had the chance to witness the incredible "Grab Anything U C But May Not Buy" spirit demostrated by fellow Q-ers.
We spent 2 hours in the store and as usual moi had a great haul (see pic pic!) Heeheehee, moi din expect to get so much stuff but the discounts were really hard to resist. I even got something which I had not (note: in years) had thought of buying. Had shown the "something" to my ex manager and she commented it was a good buy!!!! Oh well, I might haf to eat grass for the next 2 months but then again, it's not everyday that a good buy like such will come along...kekeke :P
P/S: dun envy me unless u wanna eat grass too!

8th, 1111 and 80%
After 4 days lapse, finally collected Jay's 8th album - Niu Zai Heng Man (Cowboy is busy). I am listening to the album as I blogged and I must say that some of the songs are really quite different from his usual style. And here are the awards (based on personal opinion!) :
Instant KTV hit : Wo Bu Pei
The one that got me grooving: Che
Remind me of Little Tigers: Tian Tian De
Before anyone gets the wrong idea about me dishing out 4D numbers, 1111 stands for 11th Nov and its the wedding day of Benny & Monica!! *Congratzz* The wedding dinner was held at Grand Mecure Roxy Hotel and the vb gang acty occupied 3 full tables!! As usual, we were seated with Wei2 and Uncle. As dinner got served, things got rowdy at our end. Everyone went around taking candid pics with lotsa hilarious poses. We were all self entertaining and I bet the rest of the guests must be thinking that either we were super high on red wine and beer, if not we were simply siao. Btw, my deardear let me had some red wine, heehee *muacks*
The yam seng part was the highlight of the whole dinner and the vb guys really got all of us laughing real hard till some of us had stitches. To round up the evening, we surprised bdae boy D with a cake, a bot of vodka and some unique concotions supposedly reserved for the groom. But alas, no one had the "good fortune" to drink any of the unique concotions,hahaha...
I guessed this had to be most fun wedding I had been so far and I hope it won't be the last :P
Went to the dentist for my half yearly check up on Mon and my pocket got burnt!!! 180 bucks for cleaning, X ray and filling!!! The good news is that I can claim up to 80%, the bad news is I never though it will be tat EX!!!!
Last piece of news --> I finally got my professional membership!!!! Yipee! Hee Haa! Although the cert will only be issued after 24th Nov but I am celebrating already...muahahaha

DuN mOvE tHe HanD!!!
I can't believe it...In another 1hr, it will be yet another working week *URGH*
When ppl say tat good things dun last, they really dun! Let me see, well we caught 2 movies back to back yesterday -> The Game Plan and Stardust and our dinner were 9" jumbo hotdogs. And before that we actually met a group of ppl battling out in the Subaru Impreza Challenge.
For those who are not aware of wats the Subaru Impreza Challenge, its a group of ppl putting 1 hand on a part of the Subaru Impreza for as long as they can and the last one standing (I mean whose hand is still on the car) will be crown the winner and of coz walk away with the car. Sounds simple? Well, not quite especially when there is about more than 10 ppl who are sticking their hands to the same car and each rest/break is oni 5 minutes and participants gotta plan if they wanna eat or use the toilet during the 5 minutes. There are definitely no strategies, juz pure endurance.
Yest when we walked passed Ngee Ann City, it's been like 6.5hrs since the start of the challenge and I can swear that its not an easy task trying to battle both physical and mental exhaustion. The place was stuffy, hot, no music (mental torture) and that was in the late evening. Can't imagine when its mid noon that's when the car gets heated up under the sun. *Smoking!*

HaPpY AnNiVerSaRy! LUb LuB U!!
Attack of the pinkie!!!! Well, I am definitely in a pinkish mood,kekeke...First of all, 1st Nov marks the 4th month since Dear hubby and moi exchanged our rings and read aloud our home made vows to each other. Happy Anniversary!!!
Today is another exciting day for me coz its the sales launch of tickets to Jay Chou's 2008 concert in S'pore. Let me trace the history to 23/10/07 when I read from a mag that Jay will be having concert on 19/1/08 and priority sales will be from 22/10-4/11. By the time I read the news, a day had passed and of coz I wasted no time in alerting fellow enthu SH. To my horror, SH told me that she had already gotten her ticket!!!! *Darn* Felt like asking WTF isit wrong with her!!!
We had attended the previous concert together and I could still rem how excited we were abt booking the tickets that we actually used 4 PCs to access the website. And now, SH had gone ahead to get her ticket and she still had the cheek to tell me that her fren had gotten the ticket on her behalf without giving her time to ask around. Anywaes, even if tat fren of hers was going to get the ticket for her, she still could have informed me instead of waiting for me to inform her rite. Tsk tsk tsk *roll eyes*
Anywaes, lucky I still had Leng (hugz hugz hugz). Tis gal replied my sms even though she's having a good time in USA. But by the time I wanna do my booking, almost all the tickets were sold out. I prayed hard that there will be additional show juz like the previous round and my prayers did came true! There will b another show on the 18/1/08 which means that ppl who had bought tickets earlier will be attending a later show instead...muahahaha...look at who's having the last laugh...muahahahaha
And like any true blue local, I logged into the website at 12am of 1st Nov but was unable to do anything. I got up before 7am tis morning and tried again, but still can't do much. Finally a kind soul in the office told me that online booking starts from 9am. So at exactly 9am, I started numerous attempts to log into the website. And that was the start of a frustration process that lasted till past 2pm. Despite numerous attempts, I was either kicked out at the last stage of payment or unable to proceed to the next stage of purchase. It was super super super frustrating. Best part, today is the 1st day of closing!!! *roll eyes*
I got so frustrated with the website that I actually "harassed" my dear hubby numerous times. Poor man, must be thinking that the wife got nothing better to do than to keep on lamenting on the possibilities of missing out on the concert. And finally, the poor man decided to make his wife super duper happy, went to TM to get the tickets OTC instead. And its a good thing that he did coz the tickets that I originally wanted were sold out and gotta settle for 2nd best instead. Nonetheless, I am going to see Jay Chou on 18/1/08!!! Hooray!!! Thanx so much dear dear ah boo for making me so happy on our 4th anniversary!!! I Love UUUUU!!!!

And the Oscar Goes To...
To anyone who had read (and understood)my previous post which was blogged in Chinese, do give urself a pat on the back. I dun tink it's common for ppl of my generation to read Chinese articles, although there is always the minority *wink* As for myself, well I will give myself a pat too for blogging out tat mini Chinese compo,heehee...
Anywaes, at the moment I'm resisting all temptations to look for greener pastures after the "final showdown" yest, kekeke...It's never easy to lay out everything on the table coz no one can predict the outcome and how each party will play the game. But so far, I think the dark clouds had passed and of coz I will try to view things in a more positive light and be open minded.
However, there's tis message conveyed by the other party that is still nagging at my angelic moral self till tis moment. She told me that for ppl to climb up, it doesn't mean tat they've gotta be technically strong all the time. Sometimes, it all boils down to who clinches the little gold fellow (for those clueless readers, tis refers to the Oscar award). Its not tat I dun agree with her statement but rather, its kinda a big blow to hear it from her direct. But putting myself in her shoes, I can concur with y the statement was made. Sometimes, ppl has to put on a fake front so tat they dun antagonise or get into the wrong book. I shld noe better than anyone else coz I've been in the battlefield for more than 6 years.
Acting has never been my forte and that probably explained y I was a warrior for 6 years and not the princess, muahahaha...If u asked me had I ever regretted not playing the lead role, well I guessed in life we gain some and we lose some. Had I became the princess, I won't have gained the friendships of my ex comrades. Had I became the princess, I might not have the guts to face the ppl that I had sacrificed in order to get to where I would be. So, in life there is never a win-win situtation, at best neither party suffer huge losses. I guessed living with a clear conscious and being able to hold my head high is more important than winning the little gold fellow. Ppl can do watever they wan, I will continue to live my life the way I wan. U can say that I am dumb, but at least I can slp in peace at nite.

Happy Halloween!!

ShoPpaHoLic Moi !!!
Yeah yeah yeah, your friendly neighbourhood blogger is back *clap clap* It's been a really really exhausting 5D/4N trip and I am not even talking about the shopping part. Anywaes as usual, moi is bound to haul lotsa load back from overseas, even if it's to nearby places like KL & Penang. So when moi was in HK, won't be it such a disgrace if I dun lived up to my SQ (shopping queen) reputation. And to clear the air, the title was bestowed on moi by my dear colleagues, hahahaha :P
And since I am too exhausted to blog more about the trip (moi touched down in Changi around 12.30am tis morning), I shall put up a couple of pics of some triumphant gains, muahahaha...Dun drool over my brownie coachie ya...kekeke...

HK, here we come!
Finally finally, after many days of anxious waiting and surfing furiously on the net, I've managed to book a hotel room in HK for moi and new boss!!! Hippie hooray!! If anyone is wondering y is dere a need to book our own hotel room since it's gonna b a biz trip. Well, the shopping queens (as we're known to our lunch kakis) are gonna b in HK during the weekends so tat we can contribute to the economy of HK,kekeke...
The one thing I loathe most about F&E trips is the booking of accomodation and air tickets. Nothing can be worse than worrying about having to zzz on the streets or being stranded at the airport. Imagine moi finding out that most of the affordable hotels on strategically located areas are fully booked during that weekend, SUPER DUPER FREAKED OUT!!!! Furthermore, tis is my boss' maiden trip to HK, so moi having been dere a couple of times, gotta play the guide during our F&E time and of coz to ensure that we lived up to our shopping queens' titles,hahaha...So after ding donging dozen of emails with those 3rd party online hotel -finders, moi finally managed to secure a room tis noon. *phew*
And of coz now that the roof over our heads had been taken care of, its time to plan the shopping itineary,muahahaha...On top of that, gotta find out about transportation from airport to hotel, good and cheap makan places, worthy sight seeing venues etc...The list juz seems to go on & on & on and all these will be taking place in 10 days time!!! OMG, looks like during tis weekend gotta do some research and planning. Oh my oh my oh my, I tink I better brush up on my Cantonese over these 10 days, time is sooooo short!!!!

Rolling Good Time!
Saw someone from my ex ex coy during lunchtime at the coffeeshop near my current workplace yesterday. Brought back lotsa fond memories of my 6 years in the "battlefield". And some things which I've never been able to find back after leaving the "battlefield" had gotta be the close friendships and kampong spirits that was shared among my fellow comrades.
I guessed these kinda friendships are hard to come by coz we were all at the mercy of Devil & Digimon for at least 6 years and when people suffered together, they bond together unknowingly. Even though all of us had different characters and would sometimes doubt each other (thanks to the good acting skills of Devil and Digimon), we still managed to bond. I really do missed the good old times and whenever I mentioned to anyone that I still kip in good contact with my comrades, people are amazed coz people seldom contact each other once they no longer work in the same office. And for the group of us, its even more amazing coz everyone of us had left the place that brought us all together.
It's hard for the younger generation to understand how close we once were, we knew who's dating, we hang out together after work and even on weekends...tats how close we were...From single (unattached) to being married with kids, we had indeed come a long way. Looking back at those days of tears, sweat & blood, we've matured into better individuals with everyone progressing well in our own career path. While we may had lost some dignity and pride along the route to freedom, we've gained invaluable life long experiences as well as frenships.
Haiz, for now its juz me and moi and myself, striving out on this lonely career route I've chosen (or did the route chose me??).
I miss my old gang!!!!!

BittEn... By A DB (DooR BiatCh)
Thinking that it's the last work day of the week, things shld be on a more relaxed mode. Who noes that early morning kenah bitten by a DB. For those who work in a normal office environment, DBs are often loathe coz they have no specialization (not sure if barking and biting are considered special skills) and they are always the last barrier b4 documents or normal folks like me can get to the VVIP. Very often, we find ourselves giving face to these DBs for fear of being stabbed on the back or making headlines in everyday gossips.
Coming back to the topic, poor moi outta goodwill wanna reply to DB's msg about some coordination issues. Instead of being grateful that I took the effort to walk to inform her, DB gave me the "so wat the heck do u wanna tell me about" look. WTH! (i wanna use F instead of H, but den decided to skip the vulgarities, hehehe). Anywaes, finally seen the true colors of tat DB, so at least gain some gd infor for future warfare. Guess it's time to be all prepared for battlefield coz no one noes when the next war will erupt. It always pays to be vigiliant!!!
Today is mama's bdae, so decided to treat her to some HK foodfare at C-Nai Express at ECP. We ordered some bento sets and they were really value for $$. I had a fried seafood udon bento set that came with minestrone soup, curry fishball, coleslaw, chicken rice, braised tau gua and egg and a dessert. All these for the cost of less than 10 bucks! Total costs with drinks came up to less than 6o bucks. Quite a nice dinner for a family of 4 on a Fri nite.
As usual, moi need my movie fix and we watched Balls of Fury at TM. There was this couple seated next to me who were either on a blind date or they really had no one to go out with other than each other. Wat's the logic behind making theses assumptions one might asked. Well, they both can't stop messaging on their own hps with minimal communication. The gal who was juz next to me, din had her hp outta her sight till the movie started!! And as usual, there are bound to be large groups of students who cant decide who shld sit with who and ends up like the Great Wall of China (blocking eveyone's view of the big screen).
An ending note to this post, it was done on my DD pig's laptop, muahahaha!! Took me more than half an hour to complete this post. And if anyone is wondering where's DD pig, he's playing NBA with Uncle on PS2.

Rain, Rain and Still Raining
It's a super rainy dae, nothing but rain almost the whole dae. Think the oni moments it wasn't raining was during lunchtime. Since the first day of work, I've yet to have lunch at the canteen, although I've been there for free mooncakes sampling,heehee...
Was flipping through the papers tis morning and realised that there are so many new movies to catch this week. Just to name a few: Balls of Fury (anyone who needs a good laugh), Shoot 'em up (for those who love non stop gun shooting moments)/ Nannies Diaries (anyone who like Chris Evans, he's Human Torch in Fantastic 4!). Too much movies, too little time, dilema dilema dilema...I really need my movie fix!!! Coz next week is yet another round of closing and that means longer working hours which means after work is back to home and to bed!!!
Talking about work, will be making my 1st official biz trip soon in Oct and can't help but wonder if my Cantonese will improve by then so that my counterparts in HK won't drop off their chairs when they listened to my broken Cantonese *urgh*. I guessed there's no better way to learn than to speak out even though I will be making a fool of myself. But hey, at least I am sincere and I try my best right. I do deserve a BIG BIG pat on my back.
And of coz, since I am headed for HK, should plan some shopping itinerary so that work and pleasure will be nicely balanced out (hahaha, tink oni I can come out with such nonsense). But then again, if never shop then how to claim that I've been to HK! Please do bear with my no sense thoughts,I need to let myself go wild once in a while,muahahaha...

PiNkiE 1st DaY oUt
I hope that there won't be any complaints of discomfort to the eyes after reading this pink post,heehee...But hey, its about my PINKIE! (so this blog has gotta be in pink, hahaha). Today's the 1st time that I had Pinkie for company to work and other than the minor problem of not having an external controller, everything is perfect. Imagine a music device that blasts your favourite songs, let u tune into radio stations and its 1/2 the size of name cards. Nothing could be sweeter and I cant wait for the next running event so that I can attach Pinkie to my armstrap while running through the streets of S'pore on a Sun morning. By the way, I don't get any freebies or endorsement fees for putting in so much good words about Pinkie,muahahaha...Maybe next time I shall let Pinkie blog instead, hahaha :)

Mee SiAm, CLaMs, SasHiMi!
Finally finally, I managed to satisfy my 1 week old craving for Mee Siam!! Yeah!! Dear hubby of mine brought me to the hawker centre at Kovan on Sun noon. And still no other place sells Mee Siam the way the auntie and uncle did at Kovan. Best of all, it only costs $2 with lotsas tau pok and 1 whole egg! Yummy yummy yum!
And before Mee Siam, there were black pepper chicken, sambal lala, chicken soup etc. In case anyone is wondering, Ah Ger and moi decided to whip up some dishes for dinner at Uncle's place. We went to Cold Storage where we picked out a huge watermelon (about 3/4 of it is probably still in Uncle's fridge!), one whole solid black pepper chicken, chuka hotate (seasoned scallops), Chunky Chicken Soup (Campbells), clams and mango pudding. We decided to cook the clams with some foodstuff we managed to salvage from Uncle's fridge in sambal sauce. Other than the sauce being a tiny weenie bit too saltish, it was quite comparable to those zhi cha stall (tats wat Uncle said). And for the record, it's the first time I've cooked for dear hubby, hahahaha...And for the record, none of us had a tummy upset. Kudos to the chefs! *pat pat on the back*
After VB at the beach yesterday, we headed for Jap buffet at Honjin. Had originally wanted to try out the buffet at Miramar but the place was fully booked. The service at Honjin was much better than the previous time we were there (and tat was like about 2 weeks ago!), at least all our orders were served. Some people must have thought that we were crazy to have sashimi every now and then. But the sashimi are really fresh, moi simply love the Hamachi sashimi! Too bad that the good stuff always run out fast. Gotta made do with swordfish instead.
Almost time to ZzZ...Gotta work tommorow...How I wish that everyday is like the weekend *Dreaming dreaming dreaming*

~InTroDuCtiOn~
This is not the first time I am bloggin but its the 1st time I am bloggin here (confused??). Juz in case anyone is wondering, this blog space was created by moi last year and I've finally decided to move over here coz there's more room for putting up interesting stuffs, muahahaha...
Getting down to business (like real, hahaha), today is the 1st time I am officially clearing annual leave!! *Woohoo* In my previous jobs, I simply dun have any privileges of clearing leave. The reason (big DUHZ), the number of annual leave never get beyond the number 12. How pathetic right..Imagine if need to get marry and go for honeymoon, that means gotta scrimp and save up the whole year of annual leave. Its worse than saving up for the banquet! OMG!!! *faint*
So wat had I done today...Hmm, I've finally submitted my profession membership application!! Triple Cheers for moi!! Hip hip hooray! Now, juz gotta keep my fingers crossed that the application will go through smoothly and I owed my manager a meal, kekeke. Did a little shopping at G2000. Simply couldn't resisted getting another grey jacket although I've already gotten one when I started on my new job about 3 mths ago. Imagine paying $39 for a decent jacket! The design was so classic..Too bad the matching pants and skirt were snapped up. *Haiz*
Made my way down to Raffles Hotel where I had 2 shirts tailored to my fit. Dun understand why its so hard to get good looking shirts off the rack. The last shirt I got was like a year ago. So, its time to get some nice and smart looking ones that will probably tide me through days when I simply couldn't be more creative. *wink wink*
Picked up movie tickets from the AXS machine and its shopping time again! Btw, Now I pronounce you Chuck & Larry was the movie that we watched. More about that later, now I've gotta share with everyone my latest commuting companion--> Zen Stone Plus!! *clap clap* Its a 2GB music player from Creative, wanna guess wat color did I picked???PINK!! While I blog, Pinkie is being charged up so that it will be able to keep me well entertained together with trusty old DS Lite, heehee.

Moving on to the movie, its a comedy starring Adam Sandler and of coz tat means lotsa outrageous jokes. Had a good laugh and I mean really good laugh. Movies really do wonders for me and while the movie was hilariously funny, it did bring out some heart warming issues about committment, family, friendship and equality for everyone.
I guessed this 1st blog has been quite a long blog, but I've gotta get a headstart somewhere rite! Bear with me ya, I promised to be short and sweet and to the point in my future posts!
